Questions — Fayetteville, AR

Getting a cut in Fayetteville.

Everything people ask us before their first visit to Crown Cuts — hours, prices, walk-ins, deposits, kids, textures, and what to ask for in the chair.

What is the best barbershop in Fayetteville, Arkansas?

Crown Cuts is a full-service barbershop and styling studio at 3075 N Market Ave #1A, Fayetteville, AR 72703. It's built around three things most shops don't do together: barbers who cut every hair texture, a dedicated stylist for braids, locs, silk press and color, and a chair that treats kids with patience. Open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 8pm.

Do you take walk-ins or do I need an appointment?

Both. Walk-ins are welcome whenever a chair is open, but appointments come first and Friday and Saturday fill early. Booking online at crowncuts.org is the only way to guarantee a specific time.

What are Crown Cuts' hours?

Monday through Saturday, 9am to 8pm. The homepage shows live open/closed status based on Fayetteville time.

How much is a haircut at Crown Cuts?

An adult haircut is $45. A taper with a line-up is $45, a line-up only is $25, beard grooming is $25, haircut and beard together is $60, and the Premium Crown Package (steam facial, haircut, and beard) is $70. Kids cuts are $35.

How much are braids in Fayetteville?

At Crown Cuts: 4-6 scalp braids $70, 5-10 braids $85, two-strand twists $100, crochet $130, and twist styles over dreads from $20. Silk press starts at $30 for a touch-up and $125 with a trim.

Why is there a $20 deposit on styling appointments?

Styling appointments run long — sometimes several hours — so a $20 deposit holds the time and goes toward your total. It keeps the calendar honest so people who show up can actually get in. Consultations don't require a deposit.

How long does a fade take?

About 45 minutes for a full haircut with a fade, and around 20 minutes for a line-up on its own. Haircut plus beard is closer to an hour.

How often should I get a fade?

A skin fade looks its best for about a week and stays clean for two. Most clients run a two-week cycle, and a line-up in between stretches a fresh cut another week without paying for a full haircut.

Do you cut curly, coarse, and textured hair?

Every day. All of our barbers work all textures, and Trinity handles natural hair, braids, locs, and protective styling specifically.

Do you cut kids' hair, including first haircuts?

Yes. Kids cuts are $35, and first haircuts are welcome — mention it when you book so the barber allows extra time and patience. Braids for kids are available through Trinity.

What should I ask for if I don't know the terms?

Say how short you want the sides, whether you want the fade to start low, mid, or high, how much length to leave on top, and whether you want a razor line-up. If you're unsure, bring a photo — your barber will tell you honestly whether your hair will do that.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking at the door on N Market Ave.

How do I pay, and can I pay for the deposit online?

Cash, credit, debit, and Apple Pay in the shop. Styling deposits are paid online by card when you book, and the deposit is applied to your service total.

How do I book a specific barber?

Start at crowncuts.org/book and pick your barber. Trinity's chair books directly on the site; A. Wood and Dawson each run their own calendar on theCut, and selecting them takes you straight there.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes. Your confirmation includes a private link to view, reschedule, or cancel your booking. Give as much notice as you can so someone else can take the slot.

Do you serve Springdale, Johnson, and the rest of Northwest Arkansas?

Clients drive in from Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Johnson, Farmington, Greenland, Elkins, and Prairie Grove. Crown Cuts sits in north Fayetteville, minutes from the University of Arkansas.
